January 2009 I was very overweight for my 5’6″ frame. Weighing 204 lbs and wearing a size 18 I knew things had to change. I hired Keith to come to the house 3 times per week working with me not only on fitness but with my diet as well. He has been instrumental to my success providing encouragement and motivation but NEVER judgement. 1 year and 2 weeks later I made my weight loss goal of 134 lbs. I dropped from a size 18 to a very slim size 2 and feel absolutely fantastic. I still work with Keith twice a week and am experiencing activities such as sky diving, skiing, rock climbing and running in 1/2 marathons; all activities I never would have done when I was heavy. Keith and I have been working out for about 6 months. I am 60 years old and trying to stay in shape. Keith put together an excellent beginning workout for the first 6 weeks to help me build a foundation and then we have been working on getting some mass on a small, ectomorphic frame. He has an excellent knowledge concerning personal training and has been able to tailor programs for me. I have been very happy with the results. Keith is a pleasure to work with. He is always encouraging but knows how to push me as well. The workouts have been varied and right on with my own goals. He has also been quite flexible with me in that with my work schedule I can’t always follow our set times to meet every week. Keith comes to my home 2 times a week for in home personal training. Keith is a fantastic trainer, not only is he very knowledgeable in strength and fitness training, but he is professional, trustworthy and fun to work out with. We’ve been working out for about 8 months and my strength and cardiovascular health has improved greatly. I feel very strong, and years younger and I sleep so much better now. I trust him in my home and with the at home 1 hour routines he designs for our twice weekly workouts. The workouts are fun and always different so my body never gets into a routine. We both enjoy talking about sports and politics as we watch ESPN or Fox & Friends in the morning during our workouts. When the workouts are over I always have that good “tired” feeling. Keith is extremely professional and polite, which is important when having someone into your home (for me, sometimes at 4:30AM to work around my schedule). He knows what he’s doing, so you start to trust him quickly. He embraced my goal and helped me work hard towards it. I’ve already recommended him to friends and clients of mine. Plus we talk golf all morning which is a must for me !
Keith is saving our lives. Three days per week he is at the door ready to motivate us and get us healthy. Always on time with a planned routine he is very flexible and often adapts to our roller-coaster schedule with no complaints. Training with him you can tell that he truly cares about his clients well being and it is that genuine attitude which makes it easy to push yourself. Never judgmental and always encouraging, he is quick to explain the reasons why a weigh-in doesn’t go as hoped. Using a combination of weight training, cardio, and diet advice, Keith promotes a life style change. I enjoy that Keith doesn’t just work the popular muscles but offers exercises that will shape and strengthen all the muscle groups. He is always mixing in new exercises as we get more fit and are able to do more and he takes care to work us out based on our individual needs.
Since working with Keith our weight loss journey has not been about losing weight but building a strong, healthy, well balanced body. Losing body fat and gaining muscle has overtaken our desire to obsess on the scale weight and the results we are seeing are amazing. In just 20 weeks I have lost 45lbs of fat and Mary has lost 32lbs of fat. We are seeing ourselves in the mirror for the first time in a long time. We couldn’t be more pleased.

I hired Keith as a trainer for my son to help him build muscle and become physically stronger to play soccer. I did not know that Keith had experience as a soccer player, so not only was he able to train my son physically, but with his soccer skills as well. Keith went out of his way to meet my son at a gym and field near our home to train. He also traveled long distances to come to his soccer games on his own time to watch him play in order to help him train. He is a fantastic person and quickly became a friend as well as a trainer to my son and I.

I recommend with pleasure Personal Trainer Keith Holland with whom I have worked for the past 14 months. I am a retired octogenarian (80-89 years old) having modest activity (twice-a-week tennis) during the winter season and a dread of work thereafter. My requisites are – with equal emphasis – flexibility, agility, balance and strength. He also addresses ad-hoc concerns (e.g., my oscillating out of chair like an old man ( I can now arise unaided holding 50 pounds 20 times). In strength he has turned back the clock more than a dozen years. I can now lift, pull, push and curl significantly more than I did in 2001. My hand is steadier and I enjoy improved tennis without the fear of losing balance on fast movements. Friends and acquaintances frequently remark on my improved appearance. Keith also works with my wife, dramatically improving her muscle tone. Combined with her yoga she is also demonstrably flexible.
